Office management assistant and foreign language correspondence clerk

RWEST is an established player in global energy trading.

Our headquarters in Essen houses Europe’s largest energy trading floor – and of course many trading specialists and industry experts, offer the best conditions to kick-start your training.

The regular change between college and work will furnish you with comprehensive specialist knowledge – the perfect basis for your future at RWEST.

Overview of the training courses

Year 1: Ground yourself with RWEST

We start with an introductory week where you will get to know the other trainees, your instructors and future colleagues. Here we provide you with all the information you need for the perfect start. You will then work in central functions such as Back Office, Controlling and HR to familiarise yourself with the organisational structure of RWEST. The first year of your apprenticeship will provide you with important tools – you will learn key skills in your training sessions e.g. around the topic of time & self-management and communication.

Year 2: Insight into energy trading

In the second year, our core business of Energy Trading and all its facets is on the agenda. You will work in the various departments for eight to ten weeks at a time. In addition, you will develop your soft skills with individual training on the topics of presentation, thinking on your feet, dealing with the unexpected and conflict management.

Year 3: Development into a skilled worker

The last station of your training is also the longest, because this is where your long-term placement starts. In a subject area of your choice, you immerse yourself in your favourite subject and establish true expert knowledge. You will of course be preparing for your final exam at the same time. It goes without saying that you can count on our support.
