What made me choose RWEST? Clearly, the fact that it is one of the leading European energy trading companies had something to do with it. It was not the only reason, however: I was also excited about the way the company is structured. The hierarchy here is very flat, which translates into great flexibility when considering opening new trading books or starting new strategies. This means that RWEST is able to respond quickly to structural changes in the energy market – and that is the kind of company I want to work for.

TAKING THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS SERIOUSLY

Another thing that appealed to me about RWEST was the seriousness with which they treated the recruitment process. Existing employees are heavily involved and are able to give candidates a very accurate impression of what it is like to work for the company. This is especially true during the two-day Assessment Centre, where senior managers as well as more junior employees are always available to answer any question you may have.
